FOR THE ONE Campaign:
WE ARE A CHURCH AND A PEOPLE FOR THE ONE.
For The One Campaign
OVERVIEW
The heart of this campaign comes straight from Luke 15, where Jesus reminds us of the value of the one. He tells the story of a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to search for the one lost sheep. As a campus, we believe God is calling us to do the same. To step outside our comfort zones, take bold action, and reach the ones who haven’t yet experienced His love.
This booklet will give you an overview of the next chapter of our campus. As you explore, consider how God might be inviting you to respond. Maybe it’s by stepping into a new role to lead or serve. Maybe it’s through intentional prayer for those in your life who need Him most. Or perhaps it’s through financial generosity. Whatever it may be, remember – every step of obedience matters.
We want to dream together, plan together, and work together as we head into this three-year chapter. Our prayer is that you’ll join us as God calls us to be a church, and a people, For The One.

1000 HOURS OF PRAYER
As a church, we are commiting to spend 1000 Hours in prayer over the next 21 days, (October 19 - November 9) asking Jesus to help us be a people For The One. We believe that prayer is essential, and we invite you to be a part of it with us.

We have prayed for 1000 hours!

FOR THE ONE CAMPAIGN:
You Have A Part To Play.
Where Is God Calling You To Be?
Will you help Jesus make sense to others by going to the new campus and starting a new work in our movement? Or will you choose to stay here and invest in Akron East? We ask everyone to intentionally pray through the decision of where God is calling them to be.
How Is God Calling You To Serve?
Whether you choose to be a part of Akron East or Stark North, there is no room to stand on the sidelines – we need you! Consider how God is calling you to invest and serve at Grace so we can all be a church for the one.
Learn more about ways you can serve at Grace HERE.
What Is God Calling You To Give?
Finally, we ask you to consider how you can contribute financially for the one. As a church, we must practice joyful generosity. Coming together physically, spiritually, and financially will help our dreams and prayers become a reality. Whether you are able to give a one-time gift or commit to a regular gift over the next 36 months, your generosity will be the steady foundation that drives this campaign forward.

MULTIPLICATION
At Grace Church, we are in the middle of a church planting movement that we call 30 in 30. Our prayer is that God would empower us to plant 30 campuses in a 30-year window of time. The Stark North Campus will be the 10th campus of Grace Church – a testament to all God is doing. In the 10-mile-radius around the Stark North location, there are over 64,000 people who do not have a local church home. We see the need to go and take Jesus’ message of hope to the ones that need it.
To lead Stark North, the elders of Grace have called Aaron Key to the role of Campus Pastor. Aaron has been part of Grace Church for over a decade. He started as an intern and resident with our Bath Campus Student Ministries team. A few years later, Aaron helped launch the Akron East Campus, where he has continued to invest in kids, students, and families over the last 8 years.
As we look forward to planting a new campus, Akron East Campus is still growing and in need of support. Our desire is to hire an additional pastor to help grow and develop the people of our campus. Multiplication is at the heart of who we are at Grace. We are commited to live life with Jesus every day, becoming more and more like Him in the process. This journey helps us hear and follow His call on our lives, becoming the people He created us to be.

REACHING OUR COMMUNITY
Throughout the last three years, our campus has had the opportunity to impact our local community in powerful ways. Our dream is to continue this investment by doubling down on the ways that we have seen God move.
First, we want to create more space in our building for people to come and hear the good news of Jesus. We know that when someone is exploring who Jesus is, coming to church is often their first step. To help create this space, we will re-open and renovate the auditorium balcony, providing 25% more seats in each of our weekend services.
We have learned that fitness is an incredible door into life change both for people who know Christ, and those that do not. That’s why we will renovate the lower level under the auditorium into a fitness center. It will be used both on Sunday morning, and throughout the week to host free workout classes that create opportunities to talk about Jesus and how to follow Him. We pray it will become a place our community can find physical and spiritual life.
We also want to be good neighbors, helping people know that Jesus cares about them and wants to know them, just like we do. Thats why we will continue in our commitment to impact 100 homes directly in our Ellet neighborhood through service projects like Go + Do.

BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION
At Grace, we are fully committed to kids and students. We devote significant time and resources to creating opportunities for students to meet Jesus and learn to follow Him. Students are looking everywhere to find fulfillment and purpose, and we know that only comes from Jesus! We hope to create environments where they can find friendship and community, while learning how God has gifted them to live out their faith with generosity and compassion. To do this, we need both spaces for them to learn and grow, and leaders to help them on the journey.
First, we will renovate the Student Center into a space that feels welcoming for Middle School, High School, and College Students. The student center is a free standing building on our property that includes a full size basketball court, kitchen, bathrooms, and hang-out space. We will install a new multi-sport court, as well as renovate the design and functionality of the space, so that our church can be a place where anyone who doesn’t know Jesus can come and find Him.
In addition, this campaign will allow River Harter to continue to serve and lead our Middle School and High School students at Akron East. River has been a part of our campus since the summer of 2021, as an Intern and now resident of Student Ministries. As he finishes his degree, he will move into the full-time role of Pastor of Student Ministries. We will also hire a new intern to train for full-time ministry as our church continues to grow.
I WAS THE ONE.
The hollow place in my heart, the one I had tried to fill with so many other things, was finally filled with Jesus and His Holy Spirit. I started to see that God had always been there; I just wasn’t looking for Him like He was looking for me. As Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” That’s what I finally started to do.
We Are For The One.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How much money are we trying to raise?
To fully fund the projects in the For The One campaign, we need to raise 1.1 million dollars over the next 36 months.
How is this different from my tithe?
During this 36-month window, we will continue to offer ministry for our church family and outreach to our community. Because of this, we ask that your “For The One” giving be over and above your regular giving.
When will the Stark North Campus Launch?
The Stark North Campus will begin services in late January or early February 2026. Head to their website to learn more and find the most up to date information!
What happens if we raise more or less than our goal?
Each of our projects can be scaled according to the generosity of the church. Raising more allows us to pay down debt or allocate more to each project. Likewise, the projects can be scaled down to be good stewards of our resources.
