What Is A Course?
Courses at Grace Church are a way to grow in your understanding of God’s Story. We believe that the Gospel, God’s story, is the most important thing we can share. Because of that, we want to make a space for you to know who Jesus is, live life with Him each day, and learn to give his story away.
Courses happen in a classroom environment, and are designed to help you learn more about God, yourself, and what it means to follow him. Check out the available courses below to learn more.

Discovery
Sunday, August 2nd
If you’re new to Grace Church, or still getting to know our campus, we would love to meet you! Discovery is the perfect space to learn more about our church, meet some of our leaders, explore the story of Jesus, and discover how that story, the gospel, impacts every part of your life.
Foundations
Next Course – September 2026
The Foundations Course is designed to help you explore the story of Jesus, and learn how that story, the gospel, impacts every part of your life. Foundations is the path to membership at the Akron East Campus.
Through this course, we will walk through a series of foundational conversations about Jesus and what it means to live life on mission for his glory.

Bible Study Tools
Fri – Sat, August 7th & 8th
Want to level up your Bible study skills? This course will equip you with the tools and skills you need to study and understand God’s Word on a deeper level. We’ll explore the different layers of reading Scripture, the key contexts for studying it in depth, and how to perform word studies — then put it all into practice.
Financial Peace University
Sunday, September 13th
Financial Peace University is the nine-week course that has helped nearly 10 million people learn step by step how to beat debt and build a budget. You’ll learn how to save for emergencies, pay off debt fast, spend wisely, and invest for your future.
The course costs $99 and includes a workbook and access to digital tools. One registration fee per family.
