WELCOME TO OUR ONLINE GUIDED COMMUNION SERVICE

PREPARE FOR COMMUNION

At Grace, we observe communion through three elements: Foot Washing, the Bread & the Cup, and the Love Feast. We believe that each of these elements captures a dimension of the gospel that is important to be remembered and celebrated.

If you are unable to attend communion service, we would like to invite you to join from home. We are excited to provide you with some helpful resources and would encourage you to invite family, friends, or your community group to participate in communion with you.

If you haven’t already, take some time to prepare for communion by gathering the necessary supplies, and preparing a meal to enjoy together. Then, download our communion guide and continue scrolling through this page to walk through communion with Pastor Ryan.

PART ONE: PREPARATION

Preparing our hearts is an essential first step in the process of communion. First, watch this video. Afterwards, spend some time praying and opening up your heart to how God wants to move through this time.

To help guide you through communion, we have created a playlist for the service. You can listen to the same playlist either on Spotify or Youtube through the links below.

After listening to the first two songs, continue on to the next section.

PART TWO: FOOT WASHING & THE BREAD AND THE CUP

Watch this video to hear Pastor Ryan teach on the practices of Foot Washing and taking the Bread and the Cup. Afterwards, continue listening to the music from our playlist as you go through these practices. Remember to keep a somber tone and an open heart as you remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for your sins.

PART TWO: FOOT WASHING & THE BREAD AND THE CUP

Afterwards, continue listening to the music from our playlist as you go through these practices. PART THREE: LOVE FEAST

The third and final part of Communion – the Love Feast – reminds us of the future celebration shared with Jesus in heaven free from sin and death. Take some time as a family, or join with others over video to sit down to a meal to talk and dream about Heaven!

All who share faith in Christ are welcome to participate, and we also welcome anyone who would like to observe. To learn more about communion, check out our Beliefs page.
